Pautov was taken in the sixth round (173rd overall) of the 2024 NHL Draft by the Flyers. He is now the fifth player in the Flyers’ 2024 class to be signed, joining Jett Luchanko, Spencer Gill, Jack Berglund, and Noah Powell.
Pautov split his 2025-26 season between the VHL with Zvezda Moskva and the MHL with Krasnaya Armiya Moskva, both of whom are affiliates of CSKA Moskva of the KHL. In 30 games with Krasniya Armiya, the 20-year-old recorded 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points. He also tallied 1 goal and 4 assists for 5 points in 25 games for Zvezda, his first career action in Russia’s second-tier league.
In the MHL playoffs, Pautov, who stands at 5’11” and 167 pounds, racked up 4 goals and 6 assists for 10 points in 9 games, good for second on the team in total scoring. Krasnaya Armiya lost their second round best-of-five series to eventual league runners-up MHK Spartak in four games.
In 140 career games in the MHL since 2022-23, Pautov has posted 46 goals and 73 assists for 119 points, all for Krasnaya Armiya.
According to The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jackie Spiegel, Pautov is expected to be in North America in September.

It will be interesting to see if he stays in North America to play in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms or is loaned back to Russia.
