The Philadelphia Flyers have revealed their upcoming schedule for the 2023-2024 NHL season.

The Flyers will begin their 57th season on October 12th when they take on recently traded Ivan Provorov and the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena.

Their home opener at Wells Fargo Center will take place on October 17th when they host the Vancouver Canucks. This will be the second time in three seasons that the Canucks are Philadelphia’s first home opponent.

The Flyers will play 41 home games, 40 away games, and 1 neutral site game where they will serve as the away team.

In the Metropolitan Division, Philadelphia will play the Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, and Pittsburgh Penguins four times each, while facing the New York Islanders and Washington Capitals three times each.

The Flyers will play the Atlantic Division clubs (Boston, Buffalo, Detroit, Florida, Montreal, Ottawa, Tampa Bay, Toronto) three times each, and they will take on every Western Conference team twice.

Philadelphia’s longest homestand is four games, which will occur twice in the month of January (January 4th-January 10th, January 18th-January 23rd).

The Flyers’ longest road trip will take place from December 22nd to January 2nd, a span of 5 games, prolonged by the travel out West and the Christmas break.

Notable games for the Flyers include: 10/12 at CBJ (season opener), 10/17 vs. VAN (home opener), 10/24 at VGK (first game against Stanley Cup champions), 11/19 vs. CBJ (Ivan Provorov’s return), 12/2 at PIT (first Battle of Pennsylvania), 2/6 at FLA (first game against Eastern Conference champions), 2/17 at NJD (2024 Stadium Series), 3/4 vs. STL (Kevin Hayes’ return), 3/30 vs. CHI (Connor Bedard’s first game in Philadelphia), and 4/16 vs. WSH (regular season finale).
