Included in the 2025 Flyers Rookie Camp is the Rookie Series versus the New York Rangers. The 2024 Rookie Series between the Flyers and Rangers was split between the two rookie squads. New York won in a shootout, 4-3, to take an early lead in the series. Philadelphia evened the series with a win in overtime, 3-2, featuring a game-winning goal by Samu Tuomaala.
The 2025 Rookie Series will begin on Friday at 7:00pm at the PPL Center. Then, on Saturday, the 2025 Rookie Series between the Flyers and Rangers will conclude with an exhibition game at 5:00pm. Each of the 2025 Rookie Series exhibitions will be streamed on the team website. Once the smoke settles on the 2025 Rookie Series, Philadelphia will have the day off on Sunday. The 2025 Flyers Rookie Camp will conclude on Tuesday with a final practice time of 11:00am.
