We finally have a date for when the Philadelphia Flyers will take the ice again.

The Flyers have announced their 2025-26 preseason schedule, which will feature seven games. Philadelphia will host three of those contests.

The Flyers’ preseason begins on September 21st at UBS Arena against the New York Islanders.

Below is the full schedule:

Sunday, 9/21/25 at New York Islanders, 7:00pm ET at UBS Arena, Elmont, NY

Tuesday, 9/23/25 at Montréal Canadiens, 7:00pm ET at Bell Centre, Montréal, QC

Thursday, 9/25/25 at Washington Capitals, 7:00pm ET at Capital One Arena, Washington, D.C.

Saturday, 9/27/25 vs. Boston Bruins, 7:00pm ET at Xfinity Mobile Arena, Philadelphia, PA

Monday, 9/29/25 at Boston Bruins, 5:00pm ET at TD Garden, Boston, MA

Thursday, 10/2/25 vs. New York Islanders, 7:00pm ET at Xfinity Mobile Arena, Philadelphia, PA

Saturday, 10/4/25 vs. New Jersey Devils, 3:00pm ET at Xfinity Mobile Arena, Philadelphia, PA

The Flyers went 4-3-0 against these same five teams in last year’s preseason. Broadcast information for these games will be announced at a later date, according to the Flyers.

Scheduled in the middle of training camp, these preseason games will give veterans an opportunity to get warmed up for the regular season, and they will give prospects an opportunity to show off what they can do against NHL talent. Players like Emil Andrae, Helge Grans, Jett Luchanko, Nikita Grebenkin, Alex Bump, Oliver Bonk, Denver Barkey, and whoever the Flyers select in the upcoming 2025 NHL Draft will all be either gunning for roster spots or showing the Flyers’ brass how close they are to being NHL-ready before being sent to their respective teams.

It will also be an opportunity for fans to see Rick Tocchet and his new coaching staff to get some work in behind the bench for the first time as they make their way through training camp and prepare for the 2025-26 regular season.
