The NHL season is fast approaching and the first sign of life has arrived in the form of the official Philadelphia Flyers training camp roster and schedule.
Training camp is set to begin on the 17th of September at Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, New Jersey. A grand total of 46 players will be attending, which includes 26 forwards, 16 defensemen, and 4 goaltenders.
Training camp will consist of players being sorted into three teams for practices and then it will culminate into scrimmage games on the 19th of September, as a final send off before the preseason schedule kicks off.
The Flyers will be partaking in 4 preseason games this year with back-to-back road games to start against Washington and Boston on the 21st and 22nd, respectively, before hosting the very same teams on the 24th and 26th.
That will then lead into the early regular season opener on the 30th of September with the NHL schedule expanding to 84 games this year.
