Michael Vick made a statement on Atlanta radio, that if he had to choose a team to play for, other than the Birds,it would be the Panthers(so he could stick it to the Falcons twice a year!)
ESPN reports that the Eagles will hold on to Vick,Figuring that his value will increase with one more year under his belt, and that teams aren't offering what the Birds should be able to get!
So,the question is:Do you let him go,and limp through another year with McNever,or keep him,Get rid of McNabb, and see where Kolb can take the team?

According to Fox 29, Andy reid is blocking a potential trade of McNabb:

Quote:
PHILADELPHIA - Fox 29 has learned that the Philadephia Eagles are divided on a Donovan McNabb trade, with one very powerful Eagle blocking a potential deal.

The NFL free agency period has officially begun and, as teams make offers and deals, reports say Donovan McNabbb could be traded soon.

There are many interested teams out there, but right now the Eagles are not accepting any offers yet.

Sources tell Fox 29's sports department that the St. Louis Rams are not one of those teams, contrary to some reports.

But we're also being told that trading McNabb is not going to be easy because internally the Eagles' brass wants to move him but Andy Reid does not.
Either way McNabb or Kolb is the starter next year. Vick did nothing to show he's worthy of starting.

Well if they keep him he's a UFA after next season so they are trading him now or they aren't. The longer they hold onto him his value drops.

Rumor is that the Eagles are paying him his $1.5 million roster bonus due the 9th, so it looks like they are keeping him.

I think it's really funny that a lot of Eagles fans are now saying that they would rather go through a losing season with anybody else, than keeping the status quo with McNever! The people obviously want change, why can't the organization accept this?

Ahhh, but the "Org"(sounds like a good monster name!!)signs the manatees paychecks, maybe they should tell him"If you're so fond of McNever, why don't you leave town with him?"
Seriously,Lurie needs to grow a set,and exert his influence,it's his team,he should have more say in what happens!I don't want him becoming a douche like Al Davis,or Jerry Jones, but start saying,"Umm,I OWN this team! And this is what I think we should do..."
